The Clotilde Sweater is a knitting pattern from Knitting For Olive<\/a> (available in englaish, french and many other languages) that I was wishing to knit since a long time. I like this design due to it’s graphic lace stitch used. For this pattern, the recommanded yarn is a combinaison of 3 yarn strands but it’s of course possible to replace this combinaison by another yarn. To do this you need to start by a gauge and compare it with the gauge indication available inside the pattern to know if you need to make some adaptation to the pattern. <\/p>\n

In my case, I choose the Alpaga wool from The Yarn Lover<\/a> (50g = 50m). This yarn is thick enough to replace the 3 yarn strands recommanded by the pattern. If you obtained the same gauge than me, the yarn substitution will not change  the sweater circumference, so you can choose the size you wish following the recommendation from Knitting For Olive.
