The Vintage Frill Socks are lovely socks that are knitted in the round from cuff down all in stockinette stitch. The heel is knitted with German short row technic. A lovely lace frill is added around the ankle once the sock is knitted. To make the lace frill you will need to use a sewing machine (very simple technique explain in a step by step video).
These socks are easy to make for a super cute results.

EU shoe sizes: 35/36 (37/38) 39/40 (41/42) 43/44

Finish circumference : 17,5 (18,1) 18,75 (19,3) 20 cm

Gauge: 32 stitches * 45 rows, stockinette stitch, needles 2.25 mm

Materials & needles:

• 2(2)2(2)2 yarn balls of Jawoll from Lang Yarn (50g =210m) or any other equivalent fingering yarn 100(100)100(100)100 g
• Stitch markers
• Sewing machine
• Approx. 1m of flat elastic rubber band, 0.5cm wide
• Approx. 1m of embroidered lace trim, 5cm wide
• Tapestry needle
