Le Zig Zag Cocooning cardigan is a comfortable & long cardigan. It’s an open cardigan that you can close using a belt. This cardigan is all in herringbone stitch that create a specific texture , knitted from bottom up and seamless. We start with the body part (front & back knitted at the same time) then we separate the body in tree pieces to create the sleeves. The stitches of the sleeves are picked up and then worked in the round. You can wear this cardigan in many occasion as a coat for mid season (open or close) as indoor cosy cardigan keeping you warm all night long.

Finished bust circumference: 100 (107) 116 (125) 134 (144) cm consider 15-23cm of positive ease

Gauge: 18 stitches * 14 rows, herringbone stitch, needles 10 mm

Materials & needles:

• 7 (8) 8 (9) 9 (9) The petite wool from WeAreKnitters (100g = 140m) or any other equivalent chunky yarn 700 (800) 800 (900) 900 (900)g matching the gauge
• Circular needles size 8, 10 & 12 mm
• 1 removable stitch marker big enough to be used with 10mm needles

Difficulty: 3/5 (herringbone stitch is not difficult but it take more time to knit than other stitch, knit in the round) the more complicated techniques are explained in step by step videos.
